Before initial operation the machines and instruments will be checked and calibrated either by us, through a authorised service partner or by the manufacturer himself.

Since 2003 KM is the official contractual partner of Mitutoyo measuring instruments GmbH Germany and responsible for the nation-wide handling of second hand three dimensional co-ordinate measuring machines. To be able to place a new Mitutoyo measuring machine in many cases first of all there has to be available space or the new machine has to be partly financed by selling the old machine. This is the point where KM appears.
KM is buying the actual machine (no matter of which brand) and tries to find the right buyer for it. Mitutoyo own staff is the guarantee for functionality and precision after the machines have been dismounted, remounted and calibrated. By request we organise the whole training for your staff.
For almost all the other manufacturers the appropriate authorised service partners are at our disposal.

Co-ordinate measuring systems

For more complex measuring problems and three-dimensional calculations as well as for the processing in ongoing software programs measuring microscopes and/or image processing units are ideally applied against the parts to be optically measured.

Also in this case we can offer you cheap alternatives compared to new instruments. Because of being the exclusive representant of Nikon for optical measuring instruments we are for many years specialised in selling and servicing optical systems (also other brands). That’s why dismounting, mounting and calibrating is done by own Kneissl specialised staff.
